Latest update on random UCSB tomato

It's hard figuring out whether the UCSB tomato updates belong on this garden blog or my blog about grad student life at UCSB. Ah well, if you're interested in the random tomato plant growing by Broida Hall at UCSB, you'll have to meander through both blogs.


UCSB random tomato: staking update, more dying foliage

R's distinctive red shoes show up again -- I took this photo after R watered the tomato plant. More leaves seem to be dying.


UCSB random tomato: new fruits growing in

But we did notice a few new fruits growing in, which was a nice surprise. Hopefully the latest fruit will ripen before the October rains come and kill off our hardy tomato.
